Questions About the Planning Module

No Figures Visible After Calculation​

Question​

I created a planning and clicked Calculate, but no figures are displayed in the report.

Possible Causes and Solutions​

1. The Calculation Was Not Started​

During the calculation, a red progress bar is displayed at the top of the screen.

Don't see the red bar?

→ The calculation has not started.

Solution​

Click Calculate again and verify that the red progress bar appears.

2. Incorrect or Missing Base Settings​

The Planning Module only works correctly when the required base settings have been configured.

Go to:

Planning Module → Settings → Base Data

Verify that the following two fields are configured correctly.

a. Dossier​

The first field must contain the correct dossier (company).

b. Import Set​

The second field must contain an Import Set with source data.

This can be:

  • Actuals for the current financial year

  • Actuals for the previous financial year

  • A previously created planning or budget

Without an Import Set, Factview cannot perform the calculation.
